Nutrisystem D Update: Week 8 #NSNATION

KayLynn · March 25, 2014 · 2 Comments

planning

This past week went much smoother than the one before. That’s the power of planning ahead.  Since I’m not cooking much all that means is making a shopping list and getting my vegetables, fruits and lean proteins.

My Nutrisystem counselor advised me on how to handle the days I’m exercising.  She told me how to adjust my plan those days.  Basically, I can eat an extra smartcarb before working out and an extra powerfuel after.

What I Ate This Week

My Florida son was in town for a few days so we ate out with him at lunch.  For some reason, I couldn’t get back on track that night and we picked up fast food.  So that day had extra calories and definitely more fat grams than usual.

My favorite lunch this week was the Nutrisystem Red Beans with Rice.  It also has chicken sausage and a little bit of a kick to it.  I liked it so much I had it on two different days!

The best dessert of the week was the Nutrisystem pound cake with strawberries (SmartCarb) and light whipped topping (extra) on top.  Never say healthy doesn’t taste good.

Weekly Progress

It was a great week because not only was I able to resolve being so hungry after exercising but it paid off with a drop at the scale.  Yep, I was down one full pound!

See my week by week results below.

Thanks, Kitty. This week’s update won’t be so pretty but it’s a journey, right?
