Weekly Chronicles: Fringe Edition

KayLynn · January 27, 2013 · 2 Comments

This past week was the Fringe series finale and I’m going to miss the characters I’ve grown to love.  Unfortunately, I came to this series late and haven’t been watching season 5 live as I caught up on past episodes.  Or maybe that’s a good thing because I still have more Fringe to come.

We’ve watched the first two episodes of Continuum, a new science fiction show on SyFy.  It shows promise and may become my new favorite time travel show.

Around the Web

It was another week of stellar reading online.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Wealth Informatics shared the psychology behind menu design and has great tips on how to reverse engineer them.

If you need some low calorie options for Super Bowl then check out the dips and spreads at Oatmeal in My Bowl.

Fitfluential shares Jenny’s story about how she lost 212 pounds.  I enjoy reading how ordinary people take control of their health.

This Snobby Joes recipe substitutes lentils for meat for a healthy and tasty option at $5 Dinners.

Someday I’ll Learn has Teach me Tuesday linky where you’ll find recipes, crafts and project posts.

We’ve watched Fringe since season 2. I liked it quite a bit, but not as much as my wife. We were sad to see it go, but I think it ended on a good note.
