I know today is July 6th but I figure it’s still the holiday weekend and we can celebrate a little longer. I’m not one to deck myself, my home or anything else in patriotic colors or flags. I think I’m like most Americans which is fiercely patriotic but it’s inherent. As a veteran I don’t feel I have to show it; I lived it!
My husband and I have talked about lucky we are to be natural born Americans but I really admire those who sacrificed greatly to start new lives in the United States. That’s what makes us unique and I hope we don’t forget it. Now on to lighter thoughts this Sunday morning.
