Tales from the Scale: Week 2

Two weeks of  Weight Watchers down and it’s getting a bit easier to remember to track and make good choices.  I had a loss of 1.6 pounds this week which was nice but not enough to give me a 5 pound award.

Total Loss: 4.6 Pounds

Victories and Challenges:  I made my exercise goal of 7 points by walking several times this past week.  The office BBQ lunch was challenging because there really wasn’t any low point foods.  I selected the pulled chicken for my entree (other choices were beef or pork) and small sides of baked beans and cole slaw.  This was a victory because the other sides included potato salad and corn pudding which I like but have a lot more calories and fat.

Tracking and Healthy Checks: I did better on my healthy oils but not as well on dairy.  Weight Watchers recommends members in my age group have three dairy servings a day and that’s hard to do consistently.  Tracking was a breeze and I kept up with the mobile app.

Next week: We don’t have any social events planned this week so it should be status quo.  My main challenge will be with increasing activity since I like sitting in front of a computer.

What’s your victory and challenge this week?

Great job! You are doing so well. Keep it up. I need to lose just a few pounds so I think it can wait until the weather warms up a bit. 🙂

I was doing really good on hitting the exercise bike four times a week but that sort of fell apart this week as things got really crazy and I’ve been missing sleep for a variety of reasons. Time to jump back on the bike! 🙂

I also like sitting in front of the computer so I feel your pain! I have found, especially in the winter when i am trapped inside, that my Wii Fit is about the only thing that can motivate me to exercise. Good luck!
Oh, and now I am craving corn pudding…. damn.
