Tales from The Scale: 700th Post Edition

Welcome to the 700th post at Weight Chronicles.  Although I started this blog in 2011, I barely added content until I decided to get serious about my health a year later.  Since then, I’ve been documenting my life focusing on health and wellness with a little bit of everything else thrown in. 🙂

Although I write mostly for my sanity and to keep myself going, the support and feedback of you is extremely motivating.  I thank you!

Food Plan

Before my recent oral surgery I was struggling on the food front. Late last week I was ready to get back to my healthier eating and food tracking.

I am eating Nutrisystem meals for the most part now supplemented with lean proteins, vegetables and some fruit.  I don’t have any pictures of food for you and need to get back in the habit!

Weigh-In

Despite a lot of ups and downs this past six weeks I am happy to report it wasn’t detrimental to my weight loss journey.  I was pleasantly surprised at weigh-in Saturday to see another loss of .6 pounds which brings the total loss to:

-47.6 Pounds

Just 2.4 pounds to that 50 pound medal.

Challenges Ahead

There aren’t any challenges coming up this week thank goodness.  I plan to exercise five days, track my meals and hope to see results next weigh-in.

How did your week towards great health go?

Congratulations on all your success! I have been doing a lower alcohol plan, which resulted in some unexpected weight loss. I am now going to struggle with slowly incorporating some alcohol, rather than none at all.

Congratulations on that and on being almost 50lbs down!

Khaleef, that means a lot coming from you. I am dedicated to becoming as healthy as possible because the alternative means a harder and shorter life.

Congrats on the 700 posts. And, on the great weigh in, particularly with having the oral surgery.
