Nutrisystem D Update: Week 2 #NSNation

KayLynn · January 28, 2014 · Leave a Comment

I'm proud to be a #NSNationBlogger. Click here to start your weight loss journey!

One of things many people don’t know, including myself before starting, is that Nutrisystem plans are not just packaged and frozen foods.  More of my daily calories come from lean proteins, fruits and vegetables that I add than the Nutrisystem D foods.

fresh_vegetables

This is what I picked up Saturday in addition to some additional frozen broccoli, bananas and apples.  I’m going through a lot of vegetables.  They are the go-to snack when I’m hungry and included in every meal.

NS_margherita_pizza

My favorite menu item had to be the frozen Margherita pizza. The crust got nice and crispy and it was so delicious.  I love pizza and anytime I can have that while losing weight, I’m happy.

Everything I ate this week was pretty good and there wasn’t a single thing I would scratch off my next order.

week2_meals

Here are just a few of the meals I had for breakfast, lunch and dinner this week.  One day I wrapped roasted chicken in lettuce leaves for a delicious snack.  I also made a vegetable soup from various vegetables and broth to have throughout the week. You can be creative as you want to make the food interesting and delicious.

Weekly Progress

I continued with another loss this week.  I was happy to have one after the big loss last week.  Only 3+ pounds to go to get back to my low this journey and start charting new territory.

Week Loss/Gain NS Total Overall Total
1 -4.4 -4.4 25.8
2 -1.2 -5.6 27.0

I decided to only report inches loss on a monthly basis so there’ll be a new chart in a couple of weeks.

Stay tuned for updates right here every week.  I’ll be posting photos throughout the week on Twitter and Instagram. If you’re interested in joining me you can join Nutrisystem online or by calling (800) 321-THIN.

Disclosure: Nutrisystem is providing me with the meal plan in exchange for blogging about my journey with no other compensation.  All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
