My weight loss stalled the second half of 2013. It took me six months to lose five pounds that I soon regained. It’s time to do something different and get back some momentum.
The answer came in an exciting opportunity when I was invited to become a Nutrisystem 2014 NSNation blogger. Of course I said yes and immediately started doing a dance around the room. This means Nutrisystem is providing me with Nutrisystem D (Select Plan; Pre-selected Favorites Menu) for three months and I’ll be sharing the journey with you.
Nutrisystem D Shipments
Last week we received two shipments of food in preparation for today’s start. First I received cooler full of frozen meals and desserts. Then a second delivery came with the non-perishable foods including the new Fast 5 kit.
The Fast 5 Kit is a carefully designed, one-week kit that promises a five-pound weight loss in the first week. It includes seven days of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, plus all-new shakes with formulations for men and women to meet their unique nutritional needs. I’m looking forward to those chocolate shakes.
I made a grocery run to stock up on fresh vegetables to supplement the first week’s meals including carrots, bell peppers, mixed greens, tomatoes and more.
Getting Started
Yesterday I took my measurements and recorded the official starting weight. My online profile is setup and I’m raring to go today. I’ll be updating you every week with my results but you can keep up by following me on Twitter and Instagram for updates and pictures each day.
If you’re interested in joining me you can join Nutrisystem online or by calling (800) 321-THIN.
Disclosure: Nutrisystem is providing me with the meal plan in exchange for blogging about my journey with no other compensation. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
