Weekly Tales: Valentine’s Day Edition

KayLynn · February 10, 2019 · Leave a Comment

This week includes Valentine’s Day.  We never go out on the actual day anymore due to crowds but do note the day somehow.  After 26 years together, hubby is still my Valentine!

Highlights

It was a good week and even though we had several days of rain, it wasn’t a deluge and nicely spaced.  The biggest highlight is that the source of our ceiling leak was finally determined.

The spot is where the outside closet door closes so unless you opened that door and looked for it, it couldn’t be found.  Now we wait to see if it’s covered by HOA or not (fingers crossed!).

I had a couple of social outings as well. Thursday night was an enjoyable book club dinner/meeting.  We had one new person who was lovely and I hope she joins us regularly.

Last night I went to dinner/movies with my women’s social meetup group.  About 15-16 of us saw “What Men Want”.  It was a fun movie!

Looking Ahead

Other than Valentine’s Day, I have two keto community get togethers.  One is a new meetup group meeting at a local library for the first time on Tuesday night.  The other is the monthly San Diego Low-Carb community meeting on Saturday.

Wishing you all a wonderful week!
