One of my goals this year is to blog more frequently. I also want to make connections and offer more than just trip recaps to you. As a result, a weekly feature will be a week in review post and this is the inaugural edition.
This is something I’ve done with previous blogs and I’m looking forward to sharing more of daily life in Health, Wealth and Travel!
Highlights
Valentine’s Day was Wednesday and my husband and I celebrated by going to lunch at a nearby Italian restaurant. It was uncrowded and the food was delicious!
That was the big event of the week. My evenings are busy watching the Olympics. My favorite sports are figuring skating and speed skating. My husband loves downhill skiing.
Favorite Reads
Here are some of my favorite blog posts or articles from this week.
Hip 2 Save reminds us about upcoming passport fee increases. Get yours renewed if it’s close to expiration before the deadline!
What do you think about going on a reading retreat? I never knew they existed until reading about it on The Points Guy.
Over 60 and over here! has inspired me with her posts on capsule wardrobes. I’m seriously considering moving that way so I can have less clothes and more coordination.
My travel bucket list includes taking a world cruise and I’m enjoying virtually taking them with several world cruiser blogs. Inside Cabin is one of my favorites. Don’t miss the daily programs and menus he’s uploaded.
Skinnytaste offers how to make meal prep breakfast tacos. Sounds good!
Looking Ahead
Business travel takes me to Wisconsin this coming week where the temperatures are projected to range between 15 and 48 degrees during my three day stay. What a big change from the unusually warm winter we’ve had in San Diego this year!
I’ll work at keeping warm, successful meetings and trying out a favorite Wisconsin food.
What were the highlights from your week?

I actually use four capsule wardrobes, one for each part of the year. (The Spring and Summer capsules get the most use in San Diego.) If you want any recommendations, I’m happy to chat.
