Weekly Keto Update #21

This was a pretty routine keto week for me.  We did have a substitute coach at my Healcare coaching session Thursday night.  It was nice to see the style of someone else plus we had a nice size group which made the hour fly.

Progress

No updates this week but next week I’ll have lab values to report on as well as my biweekly weigh-in results.  I did lose that little bit of water weight gain from last week’s travels but ended up exactly at my previous low.

I’m hoping the scale moves this week!

Food and Recipes

Last Sunday I finally tried the Dutch Baby in Kristie Sullivan’s Keto Living Day By Day cookbook.

It was really good!  The texture reminded me of flan.

Later in the week I cooked a tri-tip roast which was very tasty.

Other than that, no pictures.  I found the butter and beef fast too restrictive for me and I’d end up eating a Keto bar each day to fill me up.

Below is this week’s food log.

Breakfast Lunch Dinner Snacks
Sunday Recipe: Dutch Baby Keto bar, pork rinds with dip Steak, salad with blue cheese dressing Lily’s Chocolate
Monday Butter coffee Ground beef, butter, avocado steak, butter pork rinds, dip, chocolate
Tuesday Butter coffee hard boiled egg, adapt bar, ground beef, butter chicken wings pork rinds, dip, chocolate, 1/2 keto bar
Wednesday Butter coffee, bacon, eggs chicken wings, avocado pork chops, salad, blue cheese dressing 1/2 keto bar, chocolate
Thursday Butter coffee Pork chop, adapt bar eggs, bacon, pork rinds, dip, chocolate Keto bar, cheese stick
Friday Dutch baby leftovers chicken wing and leg, cheese stick, cauliflower Tri tip roast, green beans Keto bar
Saturday Dutch baby leftovers, bacon Chicken caesar salad chicken wings, veggies, ranch dip cheese stick

Looking Forward

My goal is not to have any snacks other than eggs, cheese, meat or pork rinds this week instead of those with carbs.  I’ll be eating dinner out a couple of nights while attending social events but they’re places I’ve been before so no menu challenges ahead.
