The photo above is from the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic where people were advised to wear masks at all times. They didn’t know as much about flu transmission then and there was no vaccine.
Now that the flu has been officially declared an epidemic this past week I’m glad I got my vaccination last Fall. California is one of the states that is in the early states of the spread so I anticipate a lot more sick folks around here.
In other big news I exercised with Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD this morning and well, I did feel like I was dying!
