Tales From the Scale: Meeting Attendance

KayLynn · July 14, 2014 · 2 Comments

tales-from-the-scale

This summer Weight Watchers is encouraging members to attend meetings by offering discounts on products if you attend all meetings in a four week period.  There are three of these discount time periods and if you attend 10 out of 12 I think there’s a special token.

The incentive has certainly worked with me.  Not only did I attend a meeting in Savannah last month so I could get 30% off the salad and fruit bowls but I stopped at a meeting 30 miles away from home Saturday while driving to Type A Parent Boot Camp at Disneyland to get weighed.

This meeting started at 6:30 am and had at least 3 times the number of members than show up at my meeting.  It was rocking!

Food Plan

I tracked every day this week except when I was turned off from cellular data last Tuesday in Canada.  The evening before I ate dinner at Ruth Chris (first timer) with my co-workers and chose food wisely.  The two+ glasses of wine is another story but it went perfect with the petite filet!

I got back on track when we got home but for some reason didn’t take a single picture of my meals.

Weigh-In

Despite a solid week on plan with food and fitness, I wasn’t sure I’d have a loss this week.  Fortunately, the scale moved that morning and I was down .4 pounds again which made for a total weight loss of :

-48.0 Pounds

It’s a little mind-blowing to me that I’m two pounds away from a big milestone.

 Challenges Ahead

This week I’m home all week.  The challenge is I haven’t made a meal plan for the week.  We picked up ingredients for meals through Wednesday so I need to figure out the remaining days.

How did your week towards great health go?
