Sometimes we dread things for no reason. After four weeks I finally made it to a Weight Watchers meeting. The weigh-in last Wednesday night showed:
Loss: 1.6 pounds
Boy was I surprised. In retrospect, I shouldn’t have been. I tracked points at least half the time and still made better choices even when I thought I was eating too much (because I wasn’t tracking).
The meeting topic was aptly about slip-ups and getting past them. Our worst enemy is us. We can always get right back on program now — not wait until the next meeting.
