Nutrisystem D Update: Week 7 #NSNATION

This past week on Nutrisystem D plan was the hardest yet for me.  We ate out more than we have and because I didn’t get to the grocery store last weekend I was limited in my vegetable options.  Many of my meals included canned green beans!

We did get there yesterday and I bought some broccoli slaw and mixed it with my new favorite dressing from Trader Joe’s.  The cilantro dressing is just 45 calories per serving and adds a lot of flavor.  You can see what it looks like in the picture above.

What I Ate This Week

I didn’t take many pictures of meals this week.  I guess I was in a hurry to get that food!  I also ate a lot of the frozen entrees because a new shipment was coming and I needed the room in the freezer!

I keep the frozen desserts in the door (middle picture) and the separate the entrees on different shelves based on the meal.  Breakfast on the top, lunch in the middle and dinners on the bottom shelf.  You’ll see other foods in there that are my husbands.

This cinnamon roll was so good! I paired it with a hard-boiled egg and vegetable juice to complete the meal.

The Cashew Ginger Chicken dinner was excellent and very filling with the brown rice.  I added the green beans you see and some strawberries to my meal.

Weekly Progress

The slow weight loss continues.  But at least I can say weight loss.  One of the complications is I’ve increased my exercise a lot from the first month.  I’ve been very hungry on those days and adding extra calories.

I need to talk to my counselor about the best way to handle this change.  Having said that, I’m down .6 pounds bringing the weight loss total since starting Nutrisystem D to 8 pounds!  That includes having to re-lose a vacation gain.
