Liberty of the Seas: Costa Maya

KayLynn · March 31, 2022 · Leave a Comment

We were up early today and had coffee in promenade café before breakfast at windjammer.  By the time we go to breakfast at 7 am it’s clear todays a very hot and humid day. Today is our Mom’s birthday and we all remembered her.

We didn’t have set plans for Costa Maya so decided to stay onboard.

As much as we saw of Costa Maya

I didn’t even want to be at the pools due to the heat so spent time reading and visiting with my siblings all day. We met up for lunch at the windjammer. It was good and I had an eclectic plate (chicken curry, roast turkey, broccoli beef and mashed potatoes).

For dessert it was all about the cookies — coconut for me although oatmeal raisin is another group favorite.

After watching Boss Baby 2, it was naptime. After getting ready for the evening, I had a drink at the Schooner Bar.

It’s my favorite lavender daiquiri (really martini) from past cruises. Then I met the rest of the group at the main dining room.

My first starter was the baked potato soup.

It was very good. Then followed shrimp cocktail which is always good.

For entree I went with the lasagna.

It didn’t taste as good as it looks and I just ate half. The meal for me was finished it off with coffee and royal chocolate cake.

Out on deck 4 there was a lightning storm which was nice to watch.  I went to the show tonight which was comedian Graig Murphy. He was very funny.

Then back out to see the lighting show was still going on and even more spectacular. Finally went to the cabin to settle in for the night.  Here is today’s Cruise Compass.  Click the image for the full PDF.
