Five Things Friday

KayLynn · May 29, 2015 · Leave a Comment

It’s been three weeks since I posted.  If you follow me on Instagram you know why but for those that don’t, here’s a clue.

coliseum

We were in Italy!  It was a fantastic trip but we took a tour and as our tour director joked, “you are not on vacation, you are on a tour”.  It was intense! I’ll share more about the trip later but grab a cup of coffee and let’s catch up!

Internet Woes

Ever since Time Warner Cable had a outage in our area 3-4 weeks ago we’d had problems with the direction connection.  Wi-fi worked but the wired machines could only access certain websites.  After multiple calls and the technician coming when no one was home, we left for vacation with the problem unresolved.

I called them when we got back and the technician spent about 90 minutes here last night.  Replacing the router worked.  I don’t know if the outage somehow impacted our router or what.  It’s just too much of a coincidence that a fairly new router went bad the same time they had problems.  I’m just glad this problem is resolved!

June Travels

Even thought we’re barely back I’m starting to think about my next travels.  I have two trips planned for June; one is for work and the other is all fun.  I’ll be Charlotte (shown above) for a industry conference in a couple of weeks.  I enjoy it every year although the days are very long.

Later in the month it will be FitBloggin’ time!  I’m really looking forward to attending this year’s event in Denver.

Healthy Living

gelato

During vacation, I didn’t worry about counting calories or working out.  Every day (except one day I was ill) I got at least 10,000 steps and up to 21,000 once!

I don’t regret that decision at all since it was a once in a lifetime trip.  But it’s time to get back on track.  My Nutrisystem food was ordered Tuesday and we went grocery shopping yesterday for staples.

I’ll be back at Kaia Fit tomorrow and move forward while remembering the gelato with fondness.

==========================================================

This will be a three things Friday since I’ve only been home two days.  Instead of reading rambling I thought you might appreciate another picture from our trip.  Have a wonderful weekend!
