Comfortable Holiday Shoes Can Be Fashionable #VionicShoes Review

KayLynn · December 9, 2013 · Leave a Comment

If I was accused of hoarding anything it would be shoes.  I love them but decided a decade ago that life was too short to spend it in uncomfortable shoes.  When planning what to wear to this year’s holiday parties I was resigned to my plain (but comfortable) black pumps.

I was recently sent a pair of my favorite brand of ballet flats in a holiday style.  I already knew I loved the Vionic Olivia flat.  I’ve been wearing a pair this Fall in mustard color as you can see in the picture above.  I have given up on ballet flats due to lack of support until I tried the Vionic shoes.

What makes the Olivia flat so comfortable is that it features trusted Orthaheel biomechanical technology designed by leading Podiatrist Phillip Vasyli.  Vionic footwear restores the foot’s natural (neutral) alignment, enabling the feet, ankles and legs to function as efficiently and dynamically as they were intended.  It’s touted by Dr. Andrew Weill who I’ve been following forever for tips on wellness and integrative health.

I didn’t think it was possible to be more infatuated with this brand and style, until I put on the gold Olivia flats.  I can’t decide on which dress to wear to Saturday’s party (yes this weekend) but I know what shoes will be on my feet! (Can you help me out in winning a $150 Nordstrom gift card by repinning the photo above?)

If you want a taller shoe Vionic takes support and style up a notch with classic styles and streamlined silhouettes in an array of heights – wedges, demi-wedges and platform sandals. Plus they have great sandals.  My sister has a pair and loves them. Vionic with Orthaheel Technology boasts the only sandals recommended by both the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and Dr. Weil.

The Vionic with Orthaheel Technology footwear collection ranges in price from $89.95 to $139.95 and is available online at www.vionicshoes.com, as well as Zappos.com, Belk, Dillards and select retailer stores across North America.   Next summer I’ll let you know how many are in my closet… maybe.

Disclosure: I received the Gold Olivia Ballet Flats for the purposes of this review.  All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
