Woolzies Dryer Balls Review

This article was originally published at Two Savvy Sisters which is no longer active.

Have you heard about Woolzies Dryer balls?  I had but to be honest was skeptical.  My mind was changed when I was offered the chance to try them out and share my experience.

About Woolzies Dryer Balls

woolsiedryerballs

Woolzies are 100% pure New Zealand wool dryer balls that do everything that conventional fabric softeners do plus they reduce drying time by 25%.  This is accomplished by creating space between the clothes so the air can get to them better.

Woolzies have no chemicals at all and are also hypoallergenic so are safe even for people with wool sensitivities. You’ll notice variety in the balls because they’re not machine made, but rather handmade.

You can buy them from a variety of retailers including Woolzies.com for under $35!  They are money back guaranteed to last for at least 1,000 loads which makes them cost-effective and eco-friendly.

Using Woolzies

My husband usually does the laundry at our house and I didn’t think he was totally on board when I asked him to use the Woolzies Dryer Balls for a few loads.  After the first load he told me cut 10 minutes off the usual dryer time and the clothes were dry, wrinkle-free and soft.  I think he could cut even more time off but he was being conservative.

In fact, he’s been using the dryer balls to de-wrinkle his previously dried clothes.  He’s happily going to continue using the Woolzies dryer balls long after this review is published.

I like anything that saves us money on electricity and supplies without giving up anything in return. These balls are also advantageous for those loads that you might not want scented.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I love woolzies. My roommate discovered them and now i’m using hers. I would love to win these for my cousin with four children. Can you imagine the drying time and $ savings in a household of 6???

Good for 1000 loads! Although with a baby, two dogs, and a hubby in the army that 1000 loads will probably come sooner than I think 😉
