Allure of the Seas: Sea Day 4

KayLynn · July 5, 2023 · Leave a Comment

It’s our last sea day and day onboard the Allure of the Seas.

Sea Day Morning

The promenade seating area by the champagne bar was empty when I enjoyed coffee at 6 am.  Found out sister T was on 15 so I joined her.  M joined us about half an hour later.

At 7:30 I left them to go eat at Park Cafe for the last time this trip.

I had my usual sandwich and watermelon. It was very nice sitting outside this morning.

Then I went to the top floor of the solarium and found a chair to read and work on my laptop.

Can’t’ believe how many seats were saved only by towels. Very selfish people.

After finishing my notes, I moved to a more comfortable couch and enjoyed a strawberry blonde cocktail.

Refreshing!

When it got to hot, I went to my cabin to cool off and realized I forgot to go to the 10 am invite only entertainment session. Darn!

Sea Day Afternoon

M and I met for lunch on 15 before heading to Johnny Rockets at 11:30. There was a line that had built up but we all got seated inside. I ordered a number 12 with bacon (no onions) and M ordered a original with an extra patty.

We both had fries and soda.

I topped my meal off with a chocolate sundae!

Our meals were very good. When we left the timing was perfect to get on the carousel.

We didn’t get the seat so had to pick a horse! I was surprised I could get up there but I did. It was fun.

Then I went to the cabin to pack and try to take a nap Ended up watching some tv in addition to packing

Sea Day Evening

We had 5:30 reservations at Giovanni’s. I think all would have preferred chops but it was full up tonight. (I checked). None of us wanted starters but enjoyed the bread. M and I shared a bottle of wine gifted to her or T from the casino.

We all three ordered the pasta of the day which is spinach ravioli in a cream sauce.

T also ordered shrimp and I ordered the osso Bucco.

When our pasta was delivered a party was seated near us with heavy perfume scent which triggered T’s allergies. She had to leave the table as she didn’t want us to ask to be moved. They packed her entrée and dessert to go which was very nice.

I enjoyed both courses. For dessert M and I ordered ice cream. Strawberry for her and pistachio for me with coffee for both.

We split up to meet at the theater at 8 pm. First I swung by Sorrento’s bar to get a ginger ale. Then I went back to cabin and took a covid test just to be sure I wasn’t bringing back something special from the cruise with me.

It was negative. M wanted to take test too so I’m giving her my extra box (I accidentally packed two).

The theater was not full at all tonight. The headliner was Michael Holly who was very funny as well as an entertaining juggler. Not the best I’ve seen but the funniest.

Afterwards we said goodbye. I had 45 minutes to get my bag out. This guy was in my room.

Changed into PJs and put my evening clothing in the bag before getting it outside in time and then to bed.
